Community Services Officer

Responsibilities & Duties

 

Provide operations and administrative support for courses and activities organized by the department


Assist in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) related activities (eg. Volunteering activities, Buddhism courses, Talks, Maitri Junior & Youth Group & Others)

 

  1. Provide Logistic Support & Volunteers Coordination
  2. Take charge of Venue Booking
  3. Coordination with Course Trainers & Volunteers


Marketing for Buddhism related Courses

 

  1. Assist for marketing campaigns for Buddhism related Courses to boost its promotional efforts.
  2. Evaluate existing program/activity with Trainers to increase participation,
  3. Work closely with Graphic Designer and IT staff to produce eye-catching publicity material
  4. Explore new marketing channels (both digital and partnership) to create and increase awareness to programme/activity
  5. Ensure all publicity channels such as BTRTS’s facebook, poster placement in the temple and external partners are updated. Perform email blast to draw prospective to sign up


Operations support:

 

  • Ensure efficient and effective delivery of training including course scheduling, logistics support (room & AV setup), training materials (printing of attendance, training material and certificate), etc
  • Serve as the main contact person for all enquiries (online and offline) on courses and activities organized by Community Relations Department including facilitate and manage course registration processes
  • Administer and keep track of revenue collected and expenses spent on courses and activities
  • Gather feedback from participants at end of the course and share key findings to Trainers and Management
  • Manage and update participant details and records in the database
  • Prepare reports for management reporting
  • Liaise with cleaning contractors to perform weekly cleaning in the room and monthly vacuum
  • Work with facility to get faulty issues resolved
  • Undertake ad-hoc initiatives and projects as required
  • Any other ad-hoc/administrative duties as instructed by superior. (Flexible in terms of work assignments)

Requirements

  • Min. Diploma

  • IT Savvy

  • Proficient in Word, Power Point and Excel. Understands formatting of texts in Word.

  • Good working knowledge of Chinese and English language.

  • Willing to attend IT training sessions to learn updates of company software

  • Willing to work in PH / Weekend
